Parents & Guardians

INVOLVEMENT

A strong relationship between families and teachers is encouraged through the use of the Creative Curriculum, ensuring a positive connection between home and school for each student.

One way to promote a positive connection between home and school is to volunteer in the classroom.  The teachers are always looking for resources for cultural awareness activities.  Consider coming into the classroom and sharing your family’s culture, ethnicity, language, religion, a special interest or talent with us.

The Ann Street School has a very active group of parents and guardians.  We recommend that you get involved in the many extra activities that we offer our families.

We need your assistance to continue to provide a high quality early learning program.  It is important for families to become involved.  We need your help to make our program the best for your family.

SNACKS

Families are requested to supply nutritious snacks for the entire class on a rotating basis according to a schedule sent home each month.

We prefer that sweet snacks be sent only for birthdays and other special days.  Teachers try to schedule your snack day as close to your child’s birthday as possible (we also celebrate “un-birthdays” for those with summer dates).  Please do not hand out invitations to private parties unless all the children in your child’s class are invited.
