Thank you for expressing an interest in The Ann Street School. We have been serving the community with high quality Pre-Kindergarten and Preschool programs for over thirty years. We work hard to develop programs that are both educational and fun while preparing your child for kindergarten.
We offer a flexible schedule to meet the needs of families in our community. At the time of enrollment, families may choose the days of the week and times they would like their child to attend based on availability. This allows families the ability to choose a schedule for their child that best fits into their family’s life.
Our program coincides with the Delaware Valley School district calendar. Our school year is 180 days. We expect our program to begin during the last week in August and continue through the second week of June. We observe all Delaware Valley closings including holidays, emergency weather closings, and early dismissals.
We provide half day and full day academic programs for children 3, 4, and 5-years old. Our school hours are 8:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. Half day programs are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Full day programs include any other school hours.
Enrollment for the 2020–2021 school year will open to the public on March 18. Click here to download a PreliminaryRegistration Form. Preschool students must be 3 years old and Pre-Kindergarten students must be 4 years old by September 1, 2020, or the cut-off date of your school district. Reminder: All students must be potty-trained. (This means completely independent in the bathroom, including removing and restoring their own clothing.) In order to hold your child’s spot, the office must receive a preliminary registration form and a $100.00 non-refundable registration fee for each child.
Tuition Rates for the 2020–2021 school year
- 2-day Half Day Program: $2,000 per year or 10 payments of $200
- 2-day Full Day Program: $2,720 per year or 10 payments of $272
- 3-day Half Day Program: $2,890 per year or 10 payments of $289
- 3-day Full Day Program: $3,970 per year or 10 payments of $397
- 4-day Half Day Program: $3,560 per year or 10 payments of $356
- 4-day Full Day Program: $5,000 per year or 10 payments of $500
- 5-day Half Day Program: $4,280 per year or 10 payments of $428
- 5-day Full Day Program: $6,080 per year or 10 payments of $608
We accept students who are in subsidized programs, and we also have limited scholarships available to families who might need them. Families with more than one child in the school will be given a 10% discount on the tuition of each subsequent child.
CLASS SIZE & STAFF
Class size is limited to 10 children with one teacher. Our staff/child ratio provides a premium learning environment that affords a great deal of individual attention.
All our teachers are highly qualified educators with bachelor degrees in Early Childhood Education or credentials in Child Development.
TOILETING POLICY
All children must be able to toilet independently. Children should be dressed in clothing that they can manage entirely by themselves when they use the restroom.
GETTING READY
School separation is often harder on parents as usually children are enthusiastic about going to school. Consider adjusting your schedule to prepare for school. Move bedtime up so your child will awake on his or her own and be rested and ready for school. Share in the enthusiasm, talk about “their” school beforehand and, above all – BE POSITIVE.
